Hilton Head Hospital Auxiliary Donates $20,000 for Nursing Scholarships

On May 5, 2022, the Hilton Head Hospital Auxiliary generously gave $20,000 to USCB to support nursing scholarships. The Hilton Head Hospital Auxiliary‘s goal is to provide financial assistance to those seeking advanced education in healthcare fields, with an emphasis on those studying nursing students in the Lowcountry.

The donation comes from funds raised at the Hilton Head Auxiliary’s 35th annual golf tournament, which, this year, will be held November 28-29 at the Harbour Town Golf Links and the Wexford Golf Club.

The Hilton Head Hospital Auxiliary started the scholarship fund to attract new students and help to address the shortage of nurses in the Lowcountry. Since its inception, they have raised over $925,000.

Now the Tournament Committee has set a goal of reaching $1 million by the year 2022! The dates for this year’s golf tournament are Nov. 28-29, played at Harbour Town Golf Links and the Wexford Golf Club and ending with an awards ceremony in the Champions Ballroom at the Harbour Town Golf Links Clubhouse.
